• Payment data: Stripe customer ID (we never store credit card details)

2. How We Use Your Data

• Deliver and rank promotional emails using AI
• Send you daily/weekly digests of ranked offers
• Process your subscription payments
• Prevent fraud and unauthorized access
• Improve our service based on your feedback
• Send transactional emails (password resets, receipts, etc.)

3. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing delete@betterbegood.email with your account email. We will delete all personal data within 30 days, except where required by law.

5. CAN-SPAM Compliance

Every email we send includes:

You can pause digests anytime by clicking "Pause digest" in Preferences or via the unsubscribe link in any email.

6. Security

Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Passwords are hashed using bcryptjs. We do not share your data with third parties except:

• Stripe: For payment processing (PCI DSS compliant)
• Resend: For email delivery
• Anthropic: For AI email ranking (we send email text only, no PII)
• Legal: If required by law

7. Cookies & Tracking

We use:

• Session cookie: Keeps you logged in (httpOnly, secure, expires in 7 days)
• Analytics: Google Analytics and Meta Pixel to measure traffic (anonymized)
• No third-party ads: We don't sell your data to advertisers
